Snapdeal-claimed commercial center Shopo will shut down from February 10, following eighteen months of operations.
The move comes when Snapdeal is forcefully taking a gander at streamlining costs in the midst of extreme fight with Flipkart and Amazon.
“We began, 18 months back, from a little gathering room with our central goal to empower little and individual dealers crosswise over India to offer on the web. In this brief timeframe, we have together found the dynamism and vibrance in the C2C space in India,” Shopo said in a blog entry.
It included that its group has helped more than 2 lakh merchants begin and develop their online shops.
“In any case, we understand that it will take some more years for a more extensive environment to create around the C2C section,” the blog said.
The SoftBank upheld Snapdeal said that it has assimilated all Shopo representatives.
In 2013, Snapdeal had obtained Shopo. The stage permits little and medium-sized organizations to talk, purchase and offer on the stage on a zero-commission display.
In 2015, Snapdeal had likewise declared a speculation of $100 million in the commercial center throughout the following two years.
